Entrepreneurs, to school!

Yes, indeed! School is not just for children. Ultimately, this school, whether controversial or not, is about learning and about each of our desires to develop the cognitive capacity of our neurons. You know how those jokes about neurons working come around, right?

Prof. STEVE PETERS writes, in the book “The Chimp Paradox,” that our brain has three areas. One responsible for the rational side (development through logic), one responsible for the emotional side (the chimp that gets angry quickly) and a calculator that stores information for future decisions.

We won’t go into details, because this book is available in all online bookstores, but the point is that you always need this “school” and entrepreneurial education, no matter how good you think you are.

And, related to this chapter, don’t forget the simplest and most painful real lesson from recent history of ignorance. Nokia, the number 1 company in the world in mobile telephony in the 2000s, is now a big ZERO in that market segment. Ignorance makes the difference between plus and minus infinity.

Let’s go back to school!

Entrepreneurial education will always help you develop and make the best decisions, not just by ear. Sometimes inspiration can help you, but … the pitcher doesn’t go to the well too many times.

Who said that education is simple?

It isn’t, but discipline is a primary form of education. So? Even if you will never be an expert in everything, you will learn to respect your employees, clients, and suppliers. Don’t look for the cheapest solutions to your problems, look for efficiency for each goal.

Read, understand, and learn!

The purpose of this message is to make you think rationally and to learn that education is the best form for the development of your business. Read about entrepreneurship and management, understand the mechanisms of objectives and learn to delegate responsibilities.

This is where success begins, and it is also where your responsibilities as an entrepreneur or manager end, without being “crushed” by work or burdened by unnecessary responsibilities.

Only when you apply these things, seemingly known, will you move to the next level of entrepreneurship or management with remarkable results for your business.

When I say delegate, you don’t need to have an army of people at the “door” or an astronomical budget.

Learn to delegate to support partners, who have significant experience and expertise in each area of competence, for which you only pay for results, not hours of work.
