Recently, I've been hearing the term trending at least ten times a day. Trending in music or social media, trending in personal development, fashion, and especially in culinary arts. It seems like almost everyone is trending. There are many 'successful influencers' everywhere, and there's hardly any space left for them. Some actually know what they are doing, but only some.

Ok. The good part is that this term defines a rapid evolution, which we all desire whether we are talking about personal or professional life. The sadder part is that nowadays, most of the time, trending seems more like a soap bubble and ... that's about it. It lasts a day, two, a week, or at most a month. There are many of those wonderful 'influencers' who seem to know everything about nothing. Immediate success comes with immediate disappearance. A kind of . That's how it is!

Why am I bringing this up on a Thursday, 10.10? A business can only be trending in an unpredictable context. Otherwise, healthy development (of ten) requires a lot of work, planning, patience, education, teamwork, and involvement. True results come over time, not overnight. So? Patience, and don't get too excited about a sudden success. Build well, and you'll have a solid business, without the dizzying scent of trending. Maybe that's what's in fashion now, but what about tomorrow?

Don't look for trending in your business, look for performance! It's something completely different.
