More than Less. Traditions with a Happy Ending

Glad to see you again on a new Thursday, in the full period of the Martie Old Ladies, a Romanian popular tradition based on the weather. Will it be sunny or rainy? Who knows! This year it seems that the traditional Old Ladies will be more sunny. How nice! What is the connection between tradition and entrepreneurship? I don't think there is a direct one, but faith makes us embrace both.

Many times we say that a flower doesn't mean spring or be careful what you wish for. Apparently elements from traditional folklore but ... most often relevant in our daily lives. However! The important thing is to believe in what you do. Sometimes simple, other times more complicated. But surely nothing is accidental.

The other day I had to do something extremely provocative for a public exposure of a national brand. Something new, something digital, something far out of the comfort zone. At first it was just a desire, a project, to end up being that (happy) ending. But that's not what this is about. It all depends on who is by your side when you have to do something special. I'm referring here to the partners who say almost unconditionally that ...YES to any challenge and who make the impossible become reality. Wow!

And returning to the journey of the spring Old Ladies, tradition, business, and desire. Most often, our Balkan system of entrepreneurship, based on that feeling that someone is helping you actually works beyond the well-founded procedures of corporatism. You know! That hand of help when you really need it. And guess what? It works when you know how to have trustworthy partners by your side who don’t hide behind procedures when it’s time to pull through difficult times. It's about people, about agility, and about the ability to act quickly, without getting lost in cumbersome procedures. In business, success doesn’t come just from well-established rules, but also from solid partnerships built on trust and prompt reactions in key moments.

This is what I had to talk about today. The moral! A true partner reveals themselves in times of need. They really do! In business, most often price makes the difference, but in reality it's about how you achieve success. What do you think about that?

And speaking of traditions and partners! Maybe now we're not very many who are helping build the new Children's Hospital in Ploiești. But who knows! We believe that the power of example matters and today we, along with you, are writing the history of a partnership, beyond letters and textbook definitions. This is where the difference is made when we put our shoulders to the work. Because true partnerships are not just defined by contracts, but by actions that leave a visible mark in the community. Today it’s us, tomorrow others will join us, and together we build not just a hospital, but a model of involvement that inspires.
