Goods! The longest day of the year.

A new merchandise edition with En-Joi, on a Thursday

Hello! We have passed the longest day of the year, June 21, 2025. Exactly! The summer solstice marks the beginning of astronomical summer and brings with it the highest number of hours of natural light in the whole year. On this special day, the duration of sunlight was 15 hours and 32 minutes. Wow! Basically, we had more time than ever to do things that matter – whether in business or in personal life.

Let’s talk today about what you can do during a workday. Well, in the morning you start reading dozens of messages received via email, many of them spam, which drain your energy unnecessarily. Yay! So, a little coffee is more than welcome – a small ritual that sets the tone for the day. Between two sips, you’re already thinking about priorities: how to better organize your schedule and how to make sure your business grows sustainably. Because, yes, ultimately, that's what it's all about – how you turn hours into real value.

In the past, in agriculture, people talked about the summer activity “daylight”. People worked from morning till evening, taking advantage of every ray of sunshine. However, nowadays, the focus has shifted from how much you work to how you work. It’s no longer just about being busy, but about being efficient, producing clear results in the time you have available. In other words, the relevant question becomes: how much does an hour of work cost you and how much do you gain from it?

There are entrepreneurs who make good money per second, per minute, or per hour. It's just a matter of vision, strategy, and intelligent organization. There are many business models and management methods that can turn a simple effort into a major success. The details make the difference – between stagnation and scaling, between survival and expansion. What really matters is the vision: how you formulate it, how you apply it, and how you communicate it to your team.

How do you differentiate between the fire extinguisher (T) and the detonator for scaling the business (O)? This metaphor says it all: you’re either in reaction mode, putting out problems, or you’re in growth mode, driving transformations. There is a very fine line between the two and, most of the time, small decisions are what tips the balance. Do you choose to stay stuck in emergencies or to create systems and processes that work for you? It's a daily choice, but one with a long-term impact.

So! The moral of this letter is a very simple one. You have time! Time is not the issue – it’s how you use it. You can do entrepreneurship any day, but what matters is the efficiency of the hours and the value you create. It's about you, about organizing your team, and about how you turn work hours into progress, not just fatigue. Ultimately, every entrepreneur has a workday at his disposal, whether longer or shorter, more productive or less productive, to prove that it is profitable. That is the essence for any small, medium, or large business, profitable or less profitable, with vision or out of inertia!

So! We'll hear from each other next week, hopefully with a lot more productivity!
