Mind. You are what you think.
A new open edition focused on En-Joi, on a Thursday.
Hello!
Come on, let’s start a new month, an October like the one that timidly announces the coming of winter. Hm! Apparently, it is not a month with a very optimistic vibe. But that’s not what it’s about, it’s about what you think. Officially, we enter the last quarter of this year, officially we prepare to take stock at the end. Perhaps it is too early, perhaps it is too late. It depends on where you look at things. I’ve seen sports competitions where the score turns around in the last minutes. This is the winner’s mindset, this is the power to overcome. Perhaps it is the most savory victory, to be able to turn around a score.
But let’s get back to entrepreneurship! And here it’s about the winner’s mindset. How many times have you not thought you were at the end of the road or that everything had been in vain? Years, months, days and hours of work, not to mention those minutes or seconds when you have to make a decision. So! This is the life of an entrepreneur: with ambitions and challenges. It’s about your way of thinking positively. If your goals don’t seem to meet expectations, don’t panic! Look for quick recovery solutions.
Do you know how many times I’ve been between agony and ecstasy? The difference is not great, it’s just that confidence and desire for success have tilted the balance towards the better. There is no entrepreneur who doesn’t feel cold chills during periods of decline or euphoria when the business is booming. You have to be prepared for such cold showers that forge you. What I want to say is that entrepreneurship is for those who are strong mentally, those who have enough adrenaline to handle crisis situations. When it’s sunny, anyone can smile, but when it’s foggy you must be able to see through it, or when there’s a storm to know how to ride the waves.
The real challenge is to keep your balance inside when everything seems to be shaking. That’s when you can see how well you’ve built your resilience, discipline, and confidence in yourself. In those moments, it’s not the information or the numbers that make the difference, but calmness, clarity, and the power to make decisions despite the storm. Successful entrepreneurs are those who see chaos as a training ground, not as an insurmountable obstacle.
The moral of today is about your mental education as an entrepreneur: to be able to play with numbers and goals, so you can turn the score around, to keep moving forward. Surely it’s about you. Experience tempers you along with it and gives you more confidence in your decisions. Try to slice a carrot day by day into finer slices, finer and finer. Over time you will achieve a performance you never thought you would be capable of. It’s about experience and consistency, it’s about your mind, it’s about what you think.
See you at the next letter! It will be about the benefits of consistency, with En-Joi.
